Build a brand with free Webweb calls, then persuade customers to pay for ‘cheap' calls from a PC to a normal phone. Webphone works roughly the same way as Webweb. You've a headset or phone plugged into your computer, you then go to a dialpad on the computer screen and dial the number you're calling. Also many providers allocate you a number on which to receive calls, some even provide an adapter which bypasses the computer altogether and plugs into your regular phone handset.
The Cheapest Webphone providers
There are vast differences of price between Webphone providers. Big players like Tesco have entered this market place, yet requiring you to pay upfront for the kit and charge and calls that are cheaper than mainstream phone providers but not close to the cheap ones.

The hardware needed

These work well, but lack a little of the smoothness of the pure internet telephony operators.

While phoning is free, any additional web access costs need to be taken into account. With unmetered broadband packages there's unlikely to be an additional cost from making the calls. Intel to Add Wake-on-VoIP Technology to Mobos,Intel said that four new unspecified motherboards would include a capability called Remote Wake, an improved version of the Wake-on-LAN or Wake-on-WAN technology that has been around for about a decade.
The new addition to the technology is the ability for a VOiP call to wake up the PC, a feature that's obviously geared toward Skype and other VoIP providers. VoIP provider Jajah announced support for the technology. However, both Orb Networks and CyberLink did as well, evidence that Remote Wake will be used for media management, such as recording TV shows, in addition.
Intel spokesman George Alfs confirmed the capability, and named the motherboards, which use either the G45 or G43 chipset: the DG45FC, the DG45ID, the DG43NB, and the DP43TF. Mor details on the new boards may be found at Intel's Web site.

For example, more than a quarter of people questioned (26%) were unable to take incoming work calls during telephone downtime and resorted to using their mobiles instead, and could thus incur typically higher mobile costs. Despite the disruptions and company telephone failures causing huge losses of capital, 61% of businesses had no disaster recovery plans to address the issue.
This research comes a year after severe flooding caused havoc for businesses in many parts of the UK.

This research comes a year after severe flooding caused havoc for businesses in many parts of the UK.

Surprisingly, the survey revealed that one in four people (25%) still rely on their fax machine as a viable communication method with customers if their telephone system goes down. However, when fax machines operate using a central office phone service, this is not a workable solution to the problem. All too many companies seem to disregard the threat of unforeseen circumstances and factors, and then feel regret when experiencing company telephone failures and losing tens of thousands of pounds per day and upsetting their client base.
